Things To Do

If you're planning to extend your stay and see California while you're in the area, here are some of our recommendations! If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!

Around Calistoga

Calistoga is the last frontier of Napa Valley, and the small charming town retains much of the history. We encourage you to enjoy it during the wedding!

Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, offers scenic Mount St. Helena and volcanic cliffs — rough terrain, not suitable for children.

Calistoga is known for for it’s natural hot springs and mud baths.

Wineries

  • 🍷 Ridge — Red wines reign supreme here.
  • 🍷 Scribe — You can only do a food and wine pairing here to try their wine, it costs $60 USD.
  • 🍷 Gundlach Bundschu — Great winery to bring a picnic to!

San Francisco

We hope you’ll enjoy our lovely and beautiful town. Our metro/bussing is excellent, and coupled with sparse parking, we don’t think you need to get a rental unless you plan to venture outward.

There are lovely parks, green spaces, and views all around town. You should definitely try and make an effort to see at least one of these:

If you'd like to spend some time indoors, here are some places we recommend:

Areas of Note for Tourists:

  • Fisherman’s Wharf is an exercise in patience. Venture at the risk of mental breakdown.
  • North Beach (basically Little Italy of SF) is a hot spot for tourism although I must confess the Italian food leaves a lot to be desired.
